DaySmart Pet (formerly 123Pet): Pricing, Features & Login

DaySmart Pet is pet business management software, formerly sold as 123Pet Software, covering appointment scheduling, client and pet records, online booking, payments, staff scheduling, payroll, inventory and marketing tools. It sells across five tiers and prices several capabilities, including two way texting, as higher tiers or paid add ons rather than bundling them.

DaySmart Pet accounts, including older 123Pet accounts, are managed entirely by DaySmart. Sign in from daysmart.com/pet using the login link in their site header, or open the DaySmart Pet app on your phone. GroomBoard is a separate product and cannot access or reset a DaySmart account. If you are signing in to export your client list because you are shopping for something simpler, GroomBoard imports a DaySmart Pet CSV during your free trial and migration help is free.

DaySmart Pet (formerly 123Pet Software) has five published tiers: Basic ($29/mo, one user, 500 texts), Deluxe ($69/mo, 3 users, 1,000 texts), Deluxe Growth ($149/mo, which adds two way texting, text marketing, and reputation management), Premium ($199/mo, 6 users, 2,500 texts), and Premium Growth by quote. Those prices assume DaySmart payment processing; without it each plan is $10 to $20/mo more. Daycare and boarding calendars are optional add ons at $25/mo each. Every tier sends appointment reminders, but groomers who want clients to text back need the $149/mo Deluxe Growth tier or a paid add on on Deluxe, while GroomBoard includes two way texting. Two main reasons. First, tier creep: the Basic plan leaves out two way texting and the full communication suite, so groomers who want client texting end up climbing to the $149/mo Deluxe Growth tier for features GroomBoard includes by default. Second, simplicity: DaySmart Pet bundles many tools (payroll, inventory, marketing automation) that solo groomers and small salons rarely use but pay for anyway. GroomBoard does fewer things, but does the things groomers actually need every day.

Yes. Export your client and pet list from DaySmart Pet as CSV, and we will help you import everything into GroomBoard during your free trial. Most groomers complete the switch in under 30 minutes. Your existing clients will not notice any disruption, just share your new booking link.

For the core grooming workflow, yes: online booking, client and pet profiles, SMS reminders (250 to 600 a month, included), Stripe payments, and a multi groomer calendar. If you rely heavily on DaySmart Pet add ons like Reputation Management ($49/mo), Website Builder ($15/mo), or QuickBooks integration, those are not in GroomBoard yet. For most solo and small salon groomers, the core feature set is more than enough.

For software, yes. Solo includes 250 texts a month and Salon 600, and a pack of 100 more is $5 a month if you need it, so there is no per message fee and no surprise overage. Stripe charges its standard processing fee on payments (2.9% plus 30 cents) and GroomBoard adds nothing on top. There are no setup fees and no per user charges below the 10 groomer Salon cap.
