Yes. GroomBoard runs in any modern browser on iPad, Safari or Chrome, and you can add it to your home screen so it opens full screen like a native app. Our phone app for groomers on the go is in open beta and installs from the browser too, with no App Store or Google Play listing yet.
GroomBoard is a web based platform, not a native iOS app, so the same dashboard you use on a laptop loads on an iPad with no separate sign in. The interface is responsive: tappable buttons, large input targets, and a column layout that collapses cleanly on the smaller screen. Most groomers who run an iPad in the salon use it for the calendar view and quick check ins between dogs.
To make it feel like an app, open groomboard.com in Safari, tap the Share button, and choose Add to Home Screen. The bookmark gets a GroomBoard icon and launches in full screen mode with no browser chrome, visually identical to a native app. The dashboard, booking page, and client search all work the same way they do in a regular browser.
For check in stations at the salon door, this setup is the simplest hardware story you can run: an iPad on a stand, GroomBoard pinned to the home screen, and WiFi. No App Store approval delays, no version drift between staff devices, and no need to manage a separate mobile app build. Updates ship automatically the next time the page loads.
